The estimated natural deposits of these elements in India are :Natural Uranium deposits - ~70,000 tonnes. * Thorium deposits - ~ 3,60,000 tonnes. Correct Answer India does have any deposits of Thorium on the Kerala’s monazite sands! Very unique question, so unique the answer! So understood where you could be googled? Caution : Be strong on the Imp. Minerals which are very less or absent in India & Imp. Minerals which are abundant. Also learn the places where they are found abundantly. They may ask direct place, or State, or geographical feature like region, hill etc., GK questions are subjected to high twist. Just observe the Sytax and Symentics.
