These places usually catch your eye/mind if you are regular viewer/listener of News. So understood where you could be googled? Caution : GK question is taken certainly from Current Affairs oriented view. See how they asked. They didn’t ask about the Cannes Film Festival, its prestigious prizes and winners etc. But basic fact related to it. So always note the important place and the nation located with it, not the news. *Baku, capital of Azerbaijain, where President’s Cup went in December 8 and Indian Suranjoy Singh won Gold.
